Krampus is a half-goat, half-demon is also known as 'Puck the goat'. This beastly demon is the old companion of Sint Nicholas and is famous in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy and Czech Republic. Krampus strolls the street to scare children and adults with their chains and bells during the weeks before the 5th of December. Krampus makes a lot of noise with everything he is carrying to expel malicious ghosts and demons that are believed to be present during this time of the year.
