Harley Quinn learned to know the Joker when she worked as a psychiatrist in the Arkham Asylum where he was threated as locked up patient. She started to study him as she became fascinated by the Joker. Harley Quinn fell in love with the Joker and even helped him to escape multiple times. Her support was discovered and eventually she ended up in jail herself. An earthquake gave Harley Quinn the chance to escape and reunite with the Joker. With a desire to impress the Joker, she decided to become a criminal clown herself. The rest is history...
